  4. I am being sincere here. You REALLY should rethink those bag mounts. Peoples lives are at risk.

Nope, just hate to have someone put stuff up like that and then not listen when PROFESSIONAL chassis guys tell you its fucked up and you come back to say if I had any doubts about it I wouldnt run it.

SORRY I was concerned with the safety the folks on the road besides yourself.

By all means, run it. when it breaks and kills someone, you can always say I didnt know, Oh wait, no you can't.

If your going to change it then I guess I did my job.

Looks cool ,,but unless the frames getting chromed and detailed seems a waste of nice work ya know,,I mean won't be like anyone can look under the car :) or is this for one of those up spinning around with mirrors under cars?

  8. Listen to Datinman, he happens to be a pretty well rounded fabricator and race car builder. He has yours and your customers best interests at heart.

Like i said, I was always open to listen to opinions. As far as your opinion I am sure you are qualified, as are 10k other people on here. I never questioned that. Dont question my "professionalism" (spell check anyone?) as I have been doing this a long time.

Keep your professional opinions professional if thats how you want to play it. Quit being an asshole....

This is worse than my GF spending time on perezhilton

Chrome and spinning mirrors... hmmmm.... :D

    It is actually getting powdercoated...

  11. Your girlfriend is an openly gay male on top of Perez Hilton? Whoa, you got bigger issues than you posted. :D

See how easy the trash talking can be? Lighten up and try and learn from the input. Those pictures show flimsy ill thought out mounts. Now, lets see the other idea you mentioned.

Who in the world will ever see this setup once the body in on the chassis? The hole thing was a waste of time and someones money.

Never questioned your professionalism, you put it in question posting that stuff. As for doing this for a long time, so have I, and my stuff isnt the stuff that "kids beat on".

Had you posted this as a how does this look, or do these mount look strong enough, I would have been less of an asshole and more like the beloved Tman.

    Not hatin, just sayin!

I have to agree with the 37kid. I'm in the process of doing a 49 Cad chassis that will be detailed to the max. Ford 9 with polished Winters center section and Strange polished pumpkin. Chrome link bars with everything powdercoated and looking pretty. When I put the body on noone will ever see whats underneath. But I know it's done right and will withstand any abuse I throw at it. So yeah you had a kool idea but build it to take some abuse and you'll sleep better at night. Pretty only goes so far:D

Is yours done the same way this one was?

Doubtful. Go yank someone elses chain. The drama has passed, put away the popcorn, grab a beer and chill out.
