I'd sold a non-HAMB friendly truck of mine to a guy. He went to the beach. Got drunk, doing donuts on the beach, lost control and literally drove over a local resorts rental Hobie Cat sailing fleet. FLEET! Not one, but the whole fleet! Jumped out and bailed the truck. Guess who got the call from the police. Luckily the guy was stand up enough when I took the cops to his place the next day.

 

One way I do it is to have the buyer and myself stand in front of the car on each side of the plate and take a picture.
