The ongoing "Jr. Stocker" thread was part inspiration for this. The kit is Revell's new '57 Chevy 150 Business Coupe. The decals were custom made for me by a friend.
Great looking job on the Chevy not my work but I thought this guys stuff needed to be seen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfFYbQptp_w (can never remember how to embed bloody videos)
Here's my contribution to the Sunday Models thread. See the rest of the Finland show on my another thread, here're the scale models. Rat rods and such: Stude Gasser: Kustoms: Nice old skool Ford: Very nicely detailed Pick-up: A Toyota Coupe, something I haven't seen before in 1/24. A photographer pro taking some magazine shots, note the lights coming through the paper with no shadow. Taking a photo of the Ford seen in previous photo. Cheers, --mika
Different! Here is my take on the them (Damn you Plowboy!) Its pretty rough right now, still need to fill the chop and put the back window back in, change the front window profile, section and re shape the grille shell to line up with the hood and I haven't even started on the back yet! Lots of work there, like filling the wheel wells and the chop lines from narrowing it. Any one have ideas on the rear bumper? Maybe loose it and do a rolled pan? Doc.
61FalconWagon.. that looks like a cross between a Lindberg and a Monogram.. looks cool.. Nice cars.. every one..
First off, Great Job on the '57 2002p51, great detail!! Second, here are a few pics of one I just finished yesterday, It's a Revell '50 Ford Pickup with a Jimmy Flintstone resin cab(already chopped and sectioned, lowered as far as it will go, painted the new chrysler B5 Blue with the kit scallop decals.
Omg what a awesome show! I love em all..nice work guys. I so gotta get a black widow now, gee thanks!! I have not built anything formyself in 3 months..so Let's see where I can go with this.. Oh I agree..we need a sticky. Sunday Model's has been a ritual for at least 3-4 years...if not longer.
I just found this thread while taking a break, getting some stuff ready for the NNL East next Saturday. Very cool stuff! I hope you like. WF
Keith, where the heck are you going with this? Aussie Ute-ish? Good to see a biggie on here again. Gary
I wondered the same thing. I'm glad you asked and not me! LOL. Great job on the G stock '57 Chevy, VERY clean! I like all the models posted today and the modified production T bird really jumped out at me. I planned on doing one like that in 1/16. 69falcon, stepping out of bounds as usual with cool and interesting builds. Here is my contribution for this week....a modified '34 Ford. Pretty much box stock except for a little extra detailing here and there.
nice work fellas. well I was finally inspired to try my hand at some model fun. this is my 1st offering. it's not finished and definitely amateur so go easy on me. any constructive criticism is appreciated though.
Have you considered raising the box ? Maybe make the top of the box, even with the bottom of the side window.
I'm going where ever it takes me, i never have much of a plan when i start i just roll with it!!! keith
Here is a little teaser of something I am working on. BigA's monster hands on the FAS kind of jump-started this project.
