49 merc exhaust

hey sledders,
i'm dropping a 350/350 turbo in my 49 and have a few questions...
what type of headers will work if i'm leaving the stock steering box and master cylinder in place?
my merc is a 4dr. ......what length lake pipes? i'm thinking 70 in.????
do the smithy mufflers sound good? or just plain ol' glass pacs???

350/350 in a merc. makes you want to vomit.

 

i agree... but you can use the stock manifolds or sandersons fit in there nice. the sandersons will even clear the F150 steering box swap.....the price for this info is your old flathead
