In the magazine article the car looks different than the one shown in the other photos (check out the grill, tail lights and guages, also the article has a Cadillac emblem next to it and the car has an Olds in the unrestored photos) Are these two different cars the same guy built?
As far as I know this is the same car as in the magazine article. Barris later redid the car and modified the head/taillights grille and other things.
its the same car Allison bought it out of a garage in washington and sold it last year to a guy who had it redone at desert customs.
my buddy barry from osoyoos BC owns that car now,isaw it this weekend.he had jf at desert speed shop restore it.he is gonna show it this season and probably auction it off this winter.cool car,great history and the new paint job is outstanding.
there was an article in this months rod and customs issue. Everett actually used the frame its self to plumb water to the raidiator from the engine and back!
