Event Coverage Stray Kat 500 / 30 days away

I kan't believe the response that we've received this year. So far looking at the
pre-entries we have the koolest group of Kustoms and Hot Rods to date.

A few kool things that we are working on.....

Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm we will be doing a reliability run to Woolaroc.
http://www.woolaroc.org/index.php The run will be only 12 miles but
it will be well worth the trip. Check out the web site above it is a very Kool place.

We are going to have a special Merc gathering. Every Merc owner will receive on of
our Stray Kat awards to remember event. I should have art work finished this weekend
so I'll be able to post a picture first of next week.....

Also finishing up our first DVD covering last years show. The DVD is full of koool coverage
and music by Pushrod, Rumblejetts and Miss Major and her minor mood swings. This will be
our first year so we will be a limited number of these available.

http://www.myspace.com/pushrods The bands have rocked Dewey before and
my saying if it is not broke don’t fix it. And there is nothing wrong with this line up.

Last years art show was a success so we are going to do another one and 100% of the
proceeds will go to the Tom Mix Museum. Right know we have a few kats interested in the
show and we will have some kool stuff to auction off. The show will be held inside so if
you want to work on something the day of the show we will have some protection from that
Okie wind. If you can't make it and would like to donate some stuff to auction off, give me
a holler.

Best Western's FULL!! Damn! Last year I made a reservation a month or two in advance and when I got there they acted like I was crazy to have done so. This year I wait and miss out? Bummer!

The rooms went fast this year. When people left last year they were making room
reservations up to two years in advance....... "Gravey over all"!

I plan to be there in my '51 Merc, even though I haven't done much of anything to it yet.

 

Still bummed about not being able to make it....now the whole family is bummed we are missing Woolaroc. Been getting stuff done to the Merc so Duncan can make the trip over in it. Almost ready....just gotta replace a few wires so he doesn't burn himself down.

Sent out all my stuff Mick. Now since I can't lift over 10lbs for another 6 weeks I'm gonna have to call in some favors to help get my car up and going!

 

Sure would like to get back up to Dewey this year, I will have 2 weeks after the Roundup to get there. We will see

I think M J and I are going to make a 1 day deal out of Dewey this year. Our Round-up trip is going to put us close on time after we to the sight seeing deal after it. Hopefully will see you at the Round-up and Dewey.
