That is GOOD NEWS, may God keep her safe for many, many years to come, and both of you have great times together.

mj40's sorry to hear that, lost my brother 2 years ago. For all who are dealing with that awful disease, may God give you all a cure.

That'a awsome news..."Fight the good fight"
    God bless and take care.

  10. Thankful to hear the good news. My wife is almost a year down the road from successful surgery for uterine cancer with no need for chemo as we anticipated. She is one of six siblings, all of whom have had some form of cancer. She's lost two brothers to pancreatic cancer. Her older sister is 6 years cancer free after simultaneous uterine and ovarian cancer.

My wife almost die of non-hodgkins lymphoma 10 years ago...they told me to start makin funeral plans...

I couldnt and she kicked ass!

Docs also told us we'd never have kids...just for giggles and grins we took my 3.5 year old in to see her oncologist when we went back home for a visit...he was floored...great guy, did everything that he could for her and the rest she did...

    sounds like you gotta fighter...

i've got someone close to me fighting a tough battle with cancer. at this point dr's have given him little hope. through this experience i've learned that cancer is the most brutal thing imaginable-- at its worst it has no mercy.

im so happy to read that your wife is cancer free. that is just great....

Good for your wife, Beep. That thing is a right b*tch (the disease, not the woman).

I'm glad that people get over it sometimes. It's good for their families and it keeps up homes and moral for those still fighting.

Did you wife make a bucket list ? If so, when is she starting to do crazy things to celebrate being free again ?

    noteboom, don't despair.

in Dec. 07 my Dad was diagnosed with cancer and was given 3 months to live. He is now feeling real good (still under chemo, though) and his doctors are considering operating on him this summer. So don't listen to the ones who say hope is small. It really depends on the person's will, so give them a reason to pull through : it DOES help.

That's great news,I know the feeling I had kidney cancer & had to get one removed due to it last oct ,just had my 6 mon checkup last week & it's a thumbs up.
I got real lucky they found it by accident last sept.the doc says I would've maybe had a yr if they hadn't found it.
My wife says I'm a different person now, maybe I am ,I sure dont let the little things bother me anymore.
Good Luck & I'm happy for you.
