Basically, I babysit and make sure stuff doesn't catch on fire in between teaching graphic and web design classes at a high school. I'm also taking auto repair classes at a local junior college, maybe someday I'll teach a shop class.

What that really means is I do HTRW (Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste) cleanup on active and inactive military bases in CA, NV, UT, and AZ. Sometimes I go to other exotic places like Afghanistan and hurricane cleanup.

Currently I work for the most feared government agency in the world, the US Postal Service. I'm a Mail Processing Equipment Mechanic and work on machines that are bigger than my house.

  12. I do electromechanical design and drafting on AutoCAD. We make sevice entrance switch gear and metering boards. Other kinds of connection cabinets and enclosures.
Pretty boring but nessessary and steady.
I wanted to design cars when I was younger and still would lile to do some kind of artistic career on the side.

Quality Engineer in the medical device industry. Mostly orthopedic products like plates and screws for bone breaks and spinal correction/injuries. After 16 years working at Ford plants and shipyards, it's been a nice change.

Self-employed contractor. I say I am an overly glorified handyman/ carpenter. Pretty much work on anything related to homes. Wish I had the same success working on cars as I do putting old POS homes back together.

I never heard of anyone going "irs" or "Internal" or "Revenuer". But even the Marines say someone has gone "Postal".
