put about 15000 miles on a 84 Kawasaki 900 several years back. what a blast!

have a 1970 BMW R75/5 now, but it needs some fixing to ride again as it has sat for quite a few years.

'03 Buell XB9S Lightning. Bought it from the orignal owner in June 2008 with only 2000 miles on it. It's March 18th 2009 and the odometer is about to click over to 12,000 miles. I drive it to work everyday on a 100 mile round trip. Cruises at 85 mph in the car pool lane and gets 45 mpg.

I remember when these first showed up in the US.

At the time I kept trying to find something to like about their looks but I couldn't get past those sheet metal forks.

What a difference a passing of time makes, that thing is cool!

    LarryT,
I don't know how you did it, but that bike has got that old fashioned, overly tall seat and sissy bar. But it doesn't look too tall or wierd, the bike is overall tastefully done.

Added chrome wheels recently and detachable tour-pak and back rest for the wife and painted the inner fairing to match last week . I also hand polished the stainless brake rotors.. No Job and no car right now so im playing with the scoot .. Got out yesterday for a nice 60 mile ride:)... I cant wait till it really gets nice..:D

Years ago, rode a '79 Honda cx 500 for a while, but insurance for car and bike got to be too much and I didn't like riding in the rain (in Vancouver!) so sold the bike. Now thinking about buying another one, even got spousal blessing (do it now before you're too old!). Has to be second hand due to limited budget and prefer a lighter bike but it has to be one I can take out on the highway - otherwise I can't go anywhere.

I searched for my dream Bike for Years, and finally got lucky-it's the very first Dyna Glide ever sold, as well as the first Dyna Sturgis-it sat in a Harley Dealer's collection for a long time, it's low miles, and I'm very happy-

72' Guzzi Eldorado. The correct V-twin.

I get to play with vintage Indian's all the time too! Love em'.

But, choice between a vintage bike or vintage car, had to pick the car to take the family along.
