  8. She's taken it to work & its on her desk! I got to see it briefly!!

    Thanks again :D

  9. Thought I post up a pic of my first seat I made, pretty happy over-all and of course there are things I'm doing differently on my second seat, but over-all I happy with how it turned out.

  10. My bro-in-law gave me this little treasure last week end; I plan on scanning and sharing all the good stuff inside. Both Feb. 1956, what are the chances of that.

Kool Jigger! Here is a Carolina Motorist Rainy Day Cover day always turned me on. Cover just smacks of OLD. I love the reflections on the ground. Issue is 1930. H.Foster art.

Don't know if this qualifies as real ART, but here's a couple of samples of what I would call CNC ART. The origin of the engravings are photos of my truck. A raster to vector program and a lot of reconstruction time in a CAM program produced this final results. I'm not much of a photographer and I had a bad time getting the pictures so you could even see them. but here they are.

    Great show guys!
This is screwing around with an old color pencil drawing from 1989.

These next two are for a client. I just put stuff in the background to round them out. My client plans on selling prints and t-shirts at the dragstrip.

I'm glad you enjoy the show & like the dirt rod. This week's show will be popular- the new talent kickin' this week along makes us happy. Vive Le France !

This Dirt Rod ( pictured )- Here's an idea-
    Some chunky tough radials ( e.g; Goodrich truck T/A's ? ) & a quick- change gearset. Why ?
So you could drive 500 to a showdown. Change gears. Play in the dirt Saturday night. Change gears. Sleep- Drive home Sunday.
This purpose inspires the inline 2- seat layout as some ( like myself ) don't have much talent for driving long stretches in cars as hairy as this one.

OK, last one for this week. This is based on a photo that was here a while back on the HAMB. When I saw the photo I thought it would make for a great painting.
I wrote and asked for permission on it but I got no response, so far.
If it is out of line I am very sorry and I will remove it.
