"jcWhitney" or some such headlight bezels NOS from the 50's. Came from an antique store in Vermont, still in the box..."give your car that long sleek look!"

Here's a previous version of the same car....

  14. i think we decided to go with bags too....
there are two cars in this thread that give me nice dreams and both of them are dropped flat. i like low, but i hate driving low. smacking everything in the road and then trying to get in and out of the driveway. ours has de arched springs and blocks out back and dropped uprights in the front. its traditional and i think it looks good as is, but i think i'd like it better a little lower.

now the question is how to approach it.

i like the idea of the bolt in 4-link and MII from TCI, but i'm sure there are a world of other options. i'm NOT going to notch the rear because i dont care a bout laying frame. i just want it to sit right.

anyone wanna post up links to threads covering bagging 49-52 and 53-54 chevies? i think its relevant.

Yeah I sold that car 5 years ago. The engine out of it went into the A coupe. I wish I had kept it.

Here's mine. Less interior at the moment. Trying to have it on the road for the Round up.
