Wow, what a great show this week!

I don't think I've posted this one in the FAS yet... if I have, please forgive!

Not really HAMB style, but it is an old truck being built at a HAMBer's shop.

Take a long last look... cuz this one is going bye bye. Headed off to the "crusher". I have nothing against this painting, just have another that would look really great on this size canvas. Plus, I have been in the mood to kill something. (winter is so long in the Midwest.)

This is a 51 upside-down-bathtub i've been working on. I'm not done, I was hoping to get some input from some of you. I think it needs some cool text up above. the "51" is just a quick and dirty option, or something like it. What do you all think?
    Thanks,

Wait...What? You're gonna paint over this one. Dude I know it's yours, but seems like such a waste. Can't ya just go kill an old egg carton or something???

It's for the best. She won't feel a thing... I promise.
Don't think of it so much as killing this one, but sacrificing it for something new.
I'll post some pictures of the bloodshed next week!

I just simply cannot believe this show gets bigger and better every single friggin week ?!?!?!

Does anyone have plans to sell their merch at The Jalopy Showdown ??

I'm going for the first time this year and I would love to pickup some of this outstanding art . . .

  12. What if a bunch of us pitched in and helped you buy another canvas?
I'd rather see you put this on a HA.M.B. auction than see it painted over.
I love the way this piece works and can only imagine how beautiful it
looks in person. But, then, It's yours and I'm sure you have something
    amazing in mind.

I was looking at the wood art challenge the other day and saw there were no new posts. Nevertheless, this one gets my vote as the winner. I love the way you used the woodgrain on the board. Very creative and you completely captured the essence of a hot rod woodie wagon.

IF Jigger can post photos of his "late model" dreams...then I guess I can post some concept art I did for a street rod shop here in Denver...2004 T-Bird done with '57 T-Bird front and rear ends...the owner loved it and it actually got built, altho the Bird was painted black when the "metal" work got done.

This is my first showing. I am a new member. This is a pic of a motor from a member of Road Rockets car club. I drew this on computer paper and I can't wait to start a new one with my new larger sketch paper to get more detail in. This is my first attempt at this style. It was done with graphite and colored pencil. Hope you enjoy!

You may want to take a few PSI out of the..........tires, yeah that's what I meant. They look like they are overfilled and bursting at the seams. Just Kidding. What are you going to run for a power plant in that chevy.

What a great idea...I've seen Daniel's work in person and pictures don't do it justice. Wondering how big this piece is....
