Avatar - How did you make your choice?

My last name is Kramer and I didn't have any other picture that I wanted to use so I found a Seinfeld Kramer picture I liked.

My Avatar tells the group I like helicopters. I was building one a few years back. It was a single place design built around an Allison turbine out of a military OH-6 helicopter.

One day my wife told me if if I wanted to finish my helicopter, I'd have to get a full time job - to which I responded, let me give that some serious thought, no thanks. So, I sold most of it and decided I could afford to build a rod.... which is getting more expensive than I thought it would. You know, cost to the tenth power, time to the twentieth power.

The Avatar is from last May of my wife and I with our pilot Ken from Inter-Island Helicopters in Kauai and his Hughes 500F - which has a higher horse power version of the engine I had in my project ........ and miss dearly.

Mine's a pic of my daily driver. I love the way it looks now, and thought this was a cool pic. It'll probably be changed once I get the Plymouth in suade and some whitewalls on her.

 

Can't have nekkid boobies, so how 'bout legs in the air?

 

Mine just seemed like a natural choice.

I put mine up, because some guys (call him OFFENDED guy) was calling another guy (call him MAN GUY) out on his avatar. It was a normal pic of a guy firing an M4 assault rifle. The OFFENDED Guy went crazy, telling him how tasteless it was, and how big of a redneck he was...OFFENDED Guy was obviosly not comfortable around military type weaponry. SO, I stuck up for MAN Guy, and added my redneck-ish, and slightly larger weapon, also during the firing sequence.
Why this particular pic?

mine is my car, this was one of the 1st pictures I took with my newfangled store bought floppy disk type cameras, its the 1st avatar I ever used and I just never changed it.

 

Mine is our cute new English Bulldog puppy & a London Bus ( how English !! ) from a show on Sunday . I just dig the photo too .

 

Mine is my shoebox. Some progress has been made since the photo was taken but as the front sheet metal is off & the body is off the frame it looks worse.

found a fake mustache in the mens journal, put that bad boy on offer my girl a mustache ride then took a cell phone picture of it. thought it would make a good avatar.

This is my favorite shirt and I look cool in it and, it goes with my vest.

 

Mine is from our road trip back from the Hellions' Show in Houston a couple of weeks ago. . .there to remind me of my grrrrrl while she's in the shop getting finishing touches done before shooting new paint. . .I miss her.
