How deep is the channel job?

 

HEATHEN, It was the height of the frame rails 4'', but I had to raise the body 1'' to try to get the grille shell and Cowl to be on a level.I didn't want the Grille shell in front of the x-memeber.I also didn't want to chop up my expensive radiator!!!!

Looks great! I love it without the chop- kinda makes me wish I would have left mine unchopped and channeled it. I'm 6'6' though, so I don't know about channeling mine. Keep up the good work- I really like your stance/combination of parts/etc...

Very nice work, well done. Personally I think it looks good unchopped! Got any pictures from when you did the channel job??? Or when it was an inch lower? (before the radiator issues!)
