Chevy in a 56 Savoy????

    I gots a 56 Savoy and i tonight give up on the Lhead,it blowed a piston and will need bored and more tan i want to do for a 90 horse mill,...so...i got a 63 vette 327 shortblock mothballed in dry temps since 1994 turns over fine,what are my chances of putting this in this car with a pglide??Far as i can tell the engine will fit!Have to make mounts buts thats nothing just curios if anyone has done this,thanks jason

    its a pretty simple swap just take ur time, and im sure its been done before its a very common car do some research.

    If you can fab, measure, and weld you're golden. Room is not a problem. You'll obviously have to get a custom drive shaft done. Maybe custom headers if the 327 exhaust manifolds get in the way. Otherwise it should be pretty straight forward. Measure twice, cut once. lol
