$10K got me the body, nose, hood, trunk, floor, doors (inner and outer) and garnish moldings. It was mounted on a stock Merc rolling chassis for shipping across the country. That was in "2002 dollars". Don't know what they cost now.

 

hello man, give me information about this rear gards, is original of any car? because the 51 is bigger, and uglyer... (blue merc 51,license plate, kustm)

I'm pretty sure they are stock bumperguards that are cut down.

 

this is slddnmatt's car correct? i was planning on using a '50 rear window when i do my chop but this car and the "book of love" merc is swaying me with sticking with my '51 window

Looks like I need to find a good Cluster Gear 8A-7113 - 28T for a three speed 49-50 Merc. Good used or NOS. If anyone has a old trans. with a GOOD Cluster Gear , it comes apart pretty easy. Thanks Steve
