Show pics and your tire size please. I'm building a sedan and the tires I have on the rear are just to small.

Although not a sedan, I'm thinking about gong up a size on my model a rear tires also.

You're right about the small tire on the rear. You gotta' fill up a Model A rear fender.

Perfect, that is what I was looking for. I already have those for the front so I will order new rears.

These are 255/75R BFGs - I know some of you 'purists' eschew radials, but I've been building hot rods since 58, so I can do what I like.

In my mind - this is how tires should sit inside A and 32 Fenders - whether they're bias-ply or radials

Just went and checked - those are 285s - not 255s

Same size as Chris, but blackwalls and the rears are Michelin they are about an inch and a bit bigger in the overall circumference

185/75R14 up front under cycle fenders,225/70R15 rear under full fenders. I would've gone bigger in the rear on the coupe, but at the time I bought the tires, PA required the entire tread width to be under the fender and this was the biggest size that would fit.

Interesting how the 235 is the tire size for many.
Gears the car up about right and fills out the fender well nicely.

Cycle fenders go up front later on.

  23. Is like to see some more of these. There were hardly any fendered A's on the mother of all tire thread
