My first car (truck?). My dad helped me build it when I was 14. I laid the flames out myself and a friend of my dad sprayed them. I can't decide if his getting me started at an early age on rods, customs and race cars was a blessing or a curse.

    Good job on the flames.....

It reminded me of the first brand new vehicle I ever bought.

    It was a 72 F100 bare bones 4X4 SWB, 4spd w/360...light blue with a white top.

I Bought it in Carson City, Nevada for $3,750 out the door....I wish I still had it.

If anybody is out there that still has it the license # was Nevada, OA2230

He wasn't even in the truck when his auto shifter accidentally shifted into reverse and took off and backed into his house. Heard the damage reached the cab!

    Maybe he'll chime in...

Are you a real F 100 fan, if you are then you have a few toys (die cast cars) around too. Most of the 56 F100s toys i see they don't look right the cab is too small or something, so besides a few 56 Hotwheels I never get any f100 die cast stuff. A few days ago i was in a truck-quick stop and saw a Jada D rod die cast 56 F 100, they are really nice. With a few mods and some custom paint these die cast could be sweet. I will let you decide.
