Need help. I have a 348 chevy motor and 1931 ford model A five window. I want to put a four speed gear box behind the 348. Anybody out there running a similar set up? If so what gear box would you suggest. My concern is with the small passenger area of the model A having the shifter to far back. Thanks:confused:

Either a Muncie or a Saginaw would work in there. You might have to make a mount for the shifter that mounts off the tailshaft bolts to move it forward enough for a model A. Wouldn't be too hard.

Might be a bit hard to get room for the clutch pedal set up.
