thnx for posting those pics. never got a copy of them. car looks so much better. no billet. but i am thinking of changing tires to redline or blackwalls? not sure. still need to find the 2 end teeth. any leads would be great.

Thanks Bob! But I ain't "movin' on" to anything... I've had my Merc for about 6 years. Longer than a couple of my VWs. I figure if someone loves old cars enough... they don't bother themselves with what country they came from.

 

Yeah! I wouldn't turn down a nice Notchback or Conv. Ghia...Wasn't meant as a slam,BTW! If I would have found my Merc before I got my first 67 VW,I probably wouldn't have owned 25 of them,LOL...
