If you find that the bearings are the same as the Corvette, specify that they're for the Chevy. Depending on where you guy them, Corvette parts get marked up even if they're the same part number.
I have a friend who edits a Corvette magazine, and he showed me the factory parts catalog that said "For Corvette, add 15 percent"

  4. The should be the same as the regular Chevys;the suspension parts are from 1953 to 1962.Not sure of the early ones but the 55-57's are B01 and B60(outer/inner).Pontiacs use the same outer but a different inner.NAPA used to carry them, but try and get the bearings with the metal ball cage instead of the cheap plastic ones.

You can also try national chevy association. Google that and you can find just about everything you would need at NCA

Chuck the old ball bearings and upgrade to roller bearings. I know the corvette places have them. Paragon has them.

    4894 Outer roller bearing $34.00
    4895 Inner Roller Bearing $41.00
4914 Front wheel bearing seal $7.00
341k Dust Cap Kit Pair $16.00

I think you get 15% off your first order online with them.

Autozone, NAPA, and RockAuto all carry them. They're not hard to find.

Hello, I may have the bearings you need. Please let me know the model of your 53 Chevy and if you need both pairs of inner and outer bearings, Eric
