My 72 GMC, I put 200,000 miles on it in 15 years. It was from coat to coat and every NHRA, IHRA and even a few AHRA nationals. I had the back layed out with a bed, tools and spare parts.

Same 57 Olds that I drive today. Also had a daily driver that I used for work (40 miles away), if I remember right (mind's getting older by the minute) I think it was my 50 mpg Honda CRX HF. Gas not hybrid or diesel.

I have had this since 78 , sold a 57 vette and bought this when my Daughter was born. It cost me $1,100.00 , everyone thought I paid to much... six of seven motors, five transmissions and three rearends later I still feel I got a good deal. Wish I still had the Vette ...

I just turned 16 so I was driving mostly my Mom's 73 Cutlass Supreme. Dad had put a 455 in it and told everyone it was a 350 including me. I know I used to pick off Camaros at the time with it at the lights. I really liked that car and often think about getting another.

I also finally got the keys to my 65 Fairlane which my Dad had owned for about 8 years prior to that. Still have it. This picture is from last year. I painted the front plate 20 years ago too.

Lets see; around '89 I had a 75 Cordoba, then a 79 Ramcharger full time 4WD then a 79 D 100 shortbed with a slant six, 3 on the tree, manual steering, and brakes; damn I miss that truck! I had that 79 pickup for about 7 years and beat the snot out of it the whole way; after about 4 years I put a mildly warmed over 318 in with a manual 4 speed OD tranny after I blew out the 3.55 geared 8-1/4 I put a 8-3/4 in it with 3.91s out of a 69 D 100 that I'd tried to buy a few years before; but now was in the junkyard having not move since before I tried to make it mine. Have not gone that far; I now drive an 83 D 250 (3/4 ton with yes, another 318) daily. Love carbs and no computers!
