Quiet my Generator noise

Anybody got any good ideas on how it quiet generator noise cheep .like exhaust noise.
Sorry I mean My 6 KW generator I use on my trailer for the AC and air Comp and Lights
its so loud it gives me a head ache so I have a choose a head ache from heat or noise . Hummm.

 

check your brushes lately?..or the bearrings?

If it is engine noise, you might be able to get a muffler that is quieter. Probably special order and could be pricey.

 

Check at your local tractor supply for a small muffler you may have to adapt the inlet up or down.
