Well in keeping with the Hurst Tech page,,will post old catalogs here when I can to help folks ID stuff or find what fits there car.
THANKS Satan. (Can't belive I just typed that.) Yeah, dates would be great help. We could use a wheel catalog from '64 and earlier to help with the Pile Up judging.
I always thought it would be cool to have a virtual library where people could scan and store their catalogs for others to sort through. I guess we could book mark this for reference later but wouldn't it be cool if there was one searchable site? They do have something similar for shop manuals and factory literature. Getting someone to foot the bill for a hot rod catalog site might be a problem. It appears that these are from 1968. Always check the years that the parts are supposed to fit. My Sharp flier states that the finned aluminum Ford heads fit Fords up to 1947. They did not know if they would fit the 48 engines because they weren't out when it was printed but we know now that there was no change in the 48 CAR engines. The same thing with the header applications. They fit only up to 1968. That nails down the time of the printing. These will disappear over time as the space is needed for newer photos in time.
would be a great thing to help folks with questions and cut down on alot of posts actually have 1956 to about 1970,,plan to list everything just forget sometimes,,have tons of Supercharger stuff saved just have to organise it
I scanned some of mine and have kept them on my photo site. When somebody pulls up an old post from years ago, my pictures are still there. The ones that were uploaded to the HAMB have disappeared. The same will happen to these scans. 3 years from now your above work will not be there but this Roof catalog picture will still be present unless I die and my photo album is deleted. I have no idea of the costs involved to host a searchable virtual hot rod catalog library for the guys that come along behind us but I think it is a worthwhile venture. It costs me about 30 bucks a year to keep my photo album active. Thanks for posting them. I can copy the ones I want to have access to later on my hard drive as I'm sure many readers are doing. sharing them for everyone to enjoy is great.

I have some old accesory catalogs from the 20's and 30's. I would scan some of the more interesting pages if someone would let me know how to do it. I have a scanner and make PDFs out of them. Can the PDF be posted or does it have to be converted to a .jpg? Bob
