Any ideas for the front end of a 1936 chevy pickup. I want to get it low but still use the original front axle.
    Thanks

Reversed eye main leaf... take out a few leafs... flip the axle onto the top of the springs. have the axle dropped...

So how do your plan on doin' it?

Flippin the axle gets you about 4 inches... reversed eye spring would be another 2" or so. Low profile tires... 14" wheels... pretty soon the fenders are scraping...

You could Z the frame but welding wire costs money...

thanks i will try that combination. i already have the axle off and was thinking about fliping the axle but have not seen many trucks like that so i was not sure if it would work. how do you suppose that i reverse the eyes, can i do them myself or do i have to have someone do it?
