The Harding, built in Cleveland, Ohio, 1915, was one of the first 12 cylinder cars in America. Only one touring car was built. from Encyclopedia of Automobiles by David Wise

    3 different manufacturers named Kennedy.
    The Harding built from 1916-1917
    The Carter Twin Engine.

O/T. I have all those Little Clymer Books. Pretty rare to see them come up for sale anywhere. Clymer was also the youngest ever car dealer in the United states.

    11 years old.

Remember that Noteboom's book would have written in the 1950's, so names like Ford,Carter,Clinton don't count.

Bush Motor Co. Chicago Ill. 1916- 1925. This Bush Co. bought other named cars and re-badged them "Bush" then they were sold as a Bush Automobile by mail order. I have a friend who owns one. not named after a President ?

Johnson? Hell, Costanza on Seinfeld said there was a "Johnson rod" one time at an auto dealer, so maybe Johnson.
Wilson, know they made pre-select transmissions.

    Kennedy?

    Hoover?

    Hayes?

    Reagan?

    Fillmore?

Hell if I know, guess there could be a SOLID ALEX in there somewhere.
