hey, there's a mod top in there!

mid 60's to early 70's would be a great timeframe to collect all that dealer/advertising stuff.

    psychedelic baby!

Wooha, simmer down man. You're right about the 2009 'Vette. But as for some of the other stuff guys have commented on, they are right as well. The whole NHRA Jr. Stock thread should be gone, as well as the Funny Car stuff after '65 and the entire Jungle Pam info/photographs. All of those floppers are 66 and up bodies, or at least most of them. Sometimes it's about inspiration, or preservation.

I agree this thread isn't about Traditional Hot Rods, but some of it is about Customs. All those Rapid Transit cars are Customs, just not '64 and earlier bodies. But still Customs. If you think about it, several of HAMBers favorite Ed Roth cars wouldn't be allowed on here if everyone that knew what year they were really built started fussing. In reality he only built a few before our beloved '65 cutoff. Sometimes, for inspireation or the sheer awe of what something is, the lines blurr a bit. Roth's cars are them. And so, for me at least, are the Rapid Transit cars.

Lets not hijack this thread any more, and just appreciate it for what it is. Customs and a collection of really rare stuff that one man sought to preserve.

And it's MoPar. So it kicks major ass. :D

i was done posting but calling me a dick went too far. in all of my posts i simply pointed out these cars dont belong here. i even said they were beautiful but they dont belong. then im told i drive a rat rod and im a dick. you guys, meaning the 2 who insulted me not the rest of you, go fuck yourselfs or better yet each other, if your not already.

just because you think something is cool doesn't mean it belongs. there are rules here. here they are incase you need to refresh yourself.
The HAMB is dedicated to spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods and kustoms to hoodlums world wide. That’s right – TRADITIONAL. And we aren’t talking Beach Boys and poodle skirts here fellas. If you are into a-side 50’s pop, lawn chairs, ruler contests, and all things that make hot rodding warm and cozy then you might want to find another message board. If you aren’t sure what we mean by “traditional”, then you might think twice as well. If you’ve come here to set a rep, talk some shit, and make some fun then you had better turn around right now. We aren't patient.

Even if you have come here for all the right reasons, don’t expect posting to be easy. We don’t cater to new fellas unless they show a dedication to spreading this tradition of ours first. We welcome young, old, foreign and all – but our original members and our staff expect a certain level of respect and an effort to keep things true and on topic.

Maybe you are an old fart with a past. Maybe you are one of the guys that started this tradition we cherrish. We built this place for you and your posts mean the world to us. Hop on and introduce yourself. This is your board.

Still reading? Then you must be cut out for this, right? We recommend you read some more. Check out all the forums, develop an understanding for how things work around here, learn the “do’s” and “do not’s”… The key to a happy HAMB newbie is to understand the joint BEFORE you begin posting. You want to be happy don’t ya newbie?

We have very few written rules here on the HAMB and that’s the way we like it, but we won’t hesitate to dump disruptive posters, ego freaks, or shit talkers. We are all here to learn and teach - please keep your other perogatives on the sidelines.

    Rules:
    1. No profanity in subject lines
    2. No political/religious/racial posts
    3. No Porn.
    4. All personal information listed on this board is private and protected. The HAMB does not sell this information and you are not privy to use it for your own reasons. Test us on this one and we will bite.
    5. New Users must fill out thier profiles. Every bit that you can. Simply click on "User Cp" above and get to work.
    6. New users must introduce themselves in the intro forum.

    Guidelines:
    1. If in doubt, don’t post it
    2. Stay on-topic and relevant with your posts… OT posts aren’t generally appreciated by our membership.
    3. Gotta easy question? Try using the search function first.
    4. Your life here would probably be easier if you complete your profile and introduce yourself before jumping into the deep end...

  6. The rules are pre 65 on the "classifieds",cool and interesting subjects are at "THE MODERATORS" discretion, not the "SELF APPOINTED,Traditionalists"! Lighten up and enjoy a cool 'automobilia collection",I do.:D Thanks for the interesting post, and yes an O/t in the title would allow the people that aren't interested to pass by without opening the thread.

Wow what a collection! Those RTS cars are sweet! Love the Modtops and the flattened Coyotes under the wheels. HAHA! You just don't see that crazy kinda stuff anymore in new cars.
