Saying good bie to my 26

    I want to start by saying ,Thanx to all who have sold me parts and to the people who Befriended me. If you dont already know i put my car up for sale this week, and let me tell you it F@#ken sucks!!!:mad:. Due to the Econ, my wife lost her job and and the first thing to go is my Hopes and dreams to being Kool,my 1926 ford roadster. just when i was lamost done peacing it to geather, this has to happen to me, or i should say( my wife). thank GOD for the H.A.M.B,my car is now sold to one guy and the front end to another. any ways it was fun searching for parts and meeting people threw the build.I can now say "i had a 26 roadster". :(

    you are doing the right thing by taking care of your family,,you can get another car later..and you can use the experience you gained on your first one to build an even better one,,,glad to see someone with their priorities straight,,,

  4. There will be another car for you. Don't sweat that at all.

    the dude that bought it WILL get it together, so you can visit with it one day.

    Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do to help the family get by.

    It could be selling something you love, or taking a job you hate.

    Good on you for being a man.

    I would sell my car in a second to make sure family was taken care of.You can always get another one when things get better.I know it sucks at the time ,but your heads on right .Thats always cool in my book ...

    Try not to loose sleep over it, cars come and go, but your family does not. You are doing the responsable thing, and another car will be sitting in your garage before you know it. Good luck to you.

    Hell...this old metal doesnt mean a think compared to the family...I'd sell all my deuces in a heartbeat for my family and never lose any sleep over it.

    Who knows. Maybe the new owner will let it sit. Couple years you'll come back across it and buy it cheaper then you sold it to him just so he can get it out of his hair.

    You're a better man to put Family first- what else is there...

    You did the right thing. But It isn't the end of the road nescessarily. Seach my 27 on 32 rails thread.

    thanx agin to you all!!. i feel a little better now, its funy how my 26 wasent finish,yet it managed to be gone in 60 seconds. almost done selling the hole thing. had to peace it out.just confirming on one more person on the frame and rear end. and it all will be a dream.
