Anybody else commute to the garage to work on their car?!?

My friend's shop is about 1 1/4 hours from my apartment. It's not heated (which would really be nice around now) but it's worth the drive because my friend knows far more about customs and bodywork than I do and it's great to have him there for direction. I figure his advice has saved me at least my commute time in fixing things I would have screwed up.

 

I have my alarm set a 7pm so I know when to go in the house to play with my wife.
First I make sure the welders off and the bottles closed. Then I shut off all the lights and close the door and walk about 20 feet to the back door of the house....That's my commute.
