I did some poker chips a couple years ago (posted them last week) in a similar style (much less detailed since I only needed pieces of cars). It's very time consuming.
Hidden's look great - printed on some old style paper they could be mistaken for those awesome old Art Deco motorpsorts posters of the 30's.

I had wondered where you have been. Good to see you back posting, I love your work!

5. You guys that work in Illustrator/vector have way more patience than I do. I've been playing with this drawing of my father's MGA for 2 hours and it looks like I've spent 15 minutes on it...

Sheesh.

There's some great work this week, as always.

Thanks for the compliments all.
I am planning on getting this painting out to Animal.
This was painted on a aztec gold base which you cannot tell from a scan.
Hope ya like.

Fracking amazing stuff you're doing lately! Keep at it!

16. Thanks for the props guys. I need to start following this thread every week – it's very inspirational. Makes me want to do more illustration work.

I plan to experiment a little by adding a bit of cartoonish distortion to my next piece and see how it comes out. Might be a while though.

Hi guys,
This is my first time posting on this thread. Here is a t-shirt I did a few years ago.

21. This is great. The depth and reflection on the back glass couldn't be better. Very well done.

Damn! You kids are dangerous... I quit! I wonder if McDonalds is hiring! hahaha
So... I know I've been saying for weeks that I have new paintings coming... well...
here are a few smaller pieces! No new radiators yet because I have been working on a "LOVE" theme show that is opening on the 30th. So once that's done, watch out!
To show you guys how obsessed I am... I watched a couple of shows about India
on PBS and I can't think about anything else! The art, design, and colors in India
are F'n Beautiful! I have been sketching a ton of India inspired designs... here
goes... I hope you guys like this madness... at least I'm not boring you guys!
hahahaha

This is just a quick photochop color sketch of the above sketch...

Here are a few of the pieces I've done for the LOVE show... most are cut out of wood and painted, the love potion one is on canvas... more to come.

It's not as easy as I first thought it would be.
But they say it will come!
I do like the "painterly" look you can get.
