Now this is a cool thread! I'll add my 64 Electra to the herd. Sort of put this together back in '88. It had been a running, driving car all it's life but had a rod knockin' bad when I bought it for around $850 or so. Home-sprayed laquer job and a quick interior at a friend's shop that same year. Lined up a used motor for $250 and its been running smooth as silk ever since. Uses 1/2 to 1 qrt of oil between changes. Had to pull the TH400 for a rebuild several years ago, another $225. Eventually ran new brake lines too when the main line to the rear busted. Still looks exactly like this today.

That car looks beautiful. Do you have bigger pictures?
    Is it the factory color?

Man, I'm sorry I missed this thread for so long. Here's a shot of my '63 Electra: (sorry about the soft spot in the pic.) There are a few more pics in my albums, if anyone is interested.

What do you guys think about some of the Buick rally wheels on this? I think I might like that better than just these steel rims, and Buick rally wheels would be a lot cheaper than supremes or something of that ilk.

    I don't really see a lot of 63' Electra's around.

Anyway, I'll try and get some pics up of the '57 when I can, although the front clip is off right now, and this hasn't really been a project thread...

Nice 48 Special. I like the Caddie parking light in front.

    Ok you asked for it!
Here is a low rider for you! HA HA

Trimex pedal cars made in Mexico. Don't ask, they are rare!
The blue one with the white bottom is a before shot of the pink one and the bare electric powered frame was built to replace the pedal car frame.
