Well it chaps my ass but the roadster will not be coming to California with us... Stupid first gen. fuel injection system does not seem to want to work so we need to update the computer....

But we will still be there with bells on!

No one has said much regarding Bob's Big Boy in Burbank on Friday evening so I'll just mention it here. There is a group of us that will be there in the evening for their Cruz Nite, approx 6pm-ish for dinner and mingling. We plan on then heading over to Old Crow for their open house. Kinda like last year. I had a blast, even with the soggy weather. Anyone else plan on going?

 

Anyone know where to find a IHOP near the Pamona Fair grounds?

I still do not have anything telling me what time I am supposed to set-up. I did get a call about 3 weeks ago to tell me my car was "accepted", but nothing since then.

Hope they get their shiz together.

 

I will be bringing the 36 to put in the Suede Palace.

Looks like the interior will be in for the show. Pete at Westminster Auto Upholstery is kickin' but on it as we speak.

I'll be at GNRS sat & sun with my girlfriend... it's gonna be the crowning end of our 3 week stay in California before we have to head back to Europe.

Maybe we're gonna check out Bob's Big Boy cruise night on friday too.

show will be closed at 8PM on Sat Night - that is the latest word - may change when we get there!

Move in is from 8am to 4pm on Thurs.

Gates will be locked at 4pm

they have set up on Wed night from 4pm to 9pm as well........but no Thursday night setup?

pretty weak. But I guess since the show doesnt actually open to the public til 12 pm on Fri - that is not a big deal..........

Got my stuff in the mail today, but not suede, the regular buildings.

i know we're only in january but i'd like to nominate myself for "idiot of the year". for some reason i had it in my head that the GNRS was this weekend. yeah, i know. well.. i woke up early this morning, had my peet's coffee and drove to the pomona fairplex (which is almost an hours drive). once there, i did think it was odd that the fairplex would hold the GNRS along with the Asian/American Expo. on the plus side i did enjoy the NHRA museum and got a sneak preview of their new '34 Ford exhibit.

 

I am so stoked for this trip tryin to get the Galaxie in the body shop for its buffin and fluffin and then a few other odds and ends like everyone else I am sure cant wait to see everyone there! The blue collar purple ford pick up kirks star liner? I would show just for them !
