well i got the call to go back to work been laid off since aug. and i go back monday the 19 things must be pickin up alittle in the spark plug industry
I use to love those calls, but at the same time I had a little twinge of regret knowing that my free time was over. I was willing to sacrifice my free time for a income though. Congrats.

My wife has a buddy in the appliance repair industry. He's taken his add OUT of the Yellow Pages because he is TOO busy. He says people aren't buying new, they are fixing what they have. Maybe that is why you are getting called back, more weekend mechanics busting some knuckles. That's be great because they'd need belts, hoses, soap, tools (NOT Harbor Freight kinds, I hope). Maybe then they'd get into fixing up some other stuff and realize that our hobby isn't so bad so they'd have to buy body tools, paint, etc. Next thing you know, it won't be illegal to have a parts car in your sub! This could be a great start of a brand new world. Ryan Cochran for President!

Which company? Sounds like they are trying to help jumpstart the economy and we should patronize them.

Congrats....I'm also back to work this week after a two-month layoff but I know if new car sales don't pick up within a few months, I'll probably be permanently let go. Nonetheless, it is good to be needed back at work and very busy again...and tomorrow, I should get my first real paycheck in nearly twelve weeks. Thankfully!!
