Well snatched this one up for $400 thought that was a Great bargain so we loaded it up and drug it home...cant wait to rip into it most the front is in the trunk....has some dents,no front seat but some of the fun is hunting that stuff down..may pull the inline and throw a 350 in its place slam it and flat black with a white top.....

yea I dont need anymore projects but for the price Ill listen to the wife gripe about our house turning into a car lot.... well the paint isnt set in stone I have a while ti figure it out I still not done with my 54 chevy 3100 Does anyone know of any aftermarket parts for these Ive been searching and it looks like the 55 and up has a tone of companies catering to restoring them but the 53,54 have non....any company names would be helpful....Thanks ill post the build

i dont think mercs came out until 39....... that car is worth $400 all day long,,,that was a real steal..... you could part the thing out for way more than that if you decided not to build it,,,,i'd definitely build it though,,,,,a 2 door 54 for $400,,,,can't beat that....
