Is this injection still mechanical? If it is, how much hassle is it on the street?
I'd really like to have somthing more exotic than a four barrel on my 454.

Thats the VW Plant in Germany - When you order a custom built you can go pick it up, you watch it pulled from it's stall and brought to the lobby by robotics. You can even watch it being built as you walk around the plant.

 

From what I can tell just from the pic that one's mechanical, you need three hands for each stack to tune it for the street.
You can convert that whole setup into a modern EFI by installing the fuel rails and injectors under the valley pan and the controllers under the dash.

That was torn down last year.People were complaining that it was becoming an "eyesore"

 

I hope the hell that is fully robotic. I wouldn't want to be the one driving those cars on and off those ramps. Not much margin for error there.
