  13. To all you artists out there....... Keep it up. This is the best free art show on earth......
Amazing work all. I'm so jealous, as I don't have an artistic bone in my body. Or any artistic cells in my right brain hemisphere. Or is the left side the artistic side? See, I don't know....

I've found some of my "older" stuff while cleaning out a basement storage area, I'll post it up after I get it scanned.

"Now.... on a Different note... I have been driving said BF CRAZier..( than normal... ) ...... I have a 64 Valiant ( Project...BIGTIME! ) and I have this idea in My Head that i want to Flake the Roof... We have been looking for examples of what i am thinking... None to be found.... I want to make the Roof Leopard Spotted... and do the Spots Black Flake.... And Ideas / Suggestions for doing so? ( Heeeelp.. I KNOW it could be done! )"

I am no professional painter but: Paint the top a light color with the flake. Then use CANDY BLACK for the spots. You didn't say if you want to do the full leopard skin look or just spots. Using the CANDY colors over the flake you could replicate the skin look.

Thanks to Dutch Courage and montana65 for adding fuel to my recent fiery obsession with anything tiki.

Yep, another newbie. I have been dragging my feet on posting but here goes. I know several of you guys already so this one will be old for you but I have to pace myself so I can get something new done. Im thinking that this is a picture of the one that Rob Schwager has, and since he is the one who told me about the Friday art show...thought it might be appropriate.

The original was done in clay. The picture is of a cast fiberglass piece with painted wood grain (latex). Its about 11 inces tall.

Im inspired by all of the great work on here and I already have tons of new ideas. I hope to contribute on a regular basis.

Thanks guys for the compliments! I have been really working hard on my color work. Trying to step outside my "comfort zone" I had got into w/ my b&w work. The b&w stuff had got so detailed that this was the next logical step. I also have some hand painted 1Shot stuff I need to get pics of and post as well.
