I Love this thing - it's like one of those "How Many Wrong Things Can You Find" puzzles they used to have in the paper. It's Evil Minded.

  8. "Transmission Trouble" Are you saying manual transmissions don't
    use torque converters?

    Hidden, love the pick-up man.

  9. I guess I can post these now;the two boxes were Christmas presents and the recipients are HAMB members so their dad asked me to hold off until after the holiday.
The other pics are pieces of 1/2" Lexan(old hockey rink windows)cut up into display striping brushes which will likely be used for charity auctions this year. The other piece is a Lexan hood ornament for my 55 Safari that is finally finished.
Hope everyone survived the holidays in one piece.

I love that cookie jar! If I keep eating cookies the way I do my that painting will look like a portrait of me. The teeth especially.

Here's a club jacket I did for one of our members, T-Bag. Oil paint with 1-shot striping.

    Cheers,

  24. Several years ago, Lexus I believe, had an ad asking where were all of the futuristic cars designed and promised to us in the Fifties and the Sixties were. They showed Detroit show cars and of course showed some sort of boring Lexus.

I've always loved those Detroit cars of the future, so I thought that I would try my hand at it. Most of these were sketched last Thursday, while watching White Christmas for the nth time. Except for a couple of the earlier ones, all are 1/4 inch lead stick (in a holder) in a 8-1/2 x 11-1/2 bound cotton rag sketch book.

Amazing work, everyone - There's just so many styles, materials and subject matter on this post to be inspired by. There's some really fun stuff this week - especially the imaginary car drawings. A couple I'll point out that I really like...

fortypickup - I really like the clean version on the 55 gasser - awesome
timebombkustoms - I love the stripping on that cookie jar - really cool design
GaryC - great ideas and execution on that corvette design
aceuh - love that 54 Chev - it looks mean. great shots
Dutch Courage - always one of my favorite artists on here - fantastic style and quality this week
jonnyrocknroll - that's a fantastic version of the Weesner illustration - keep it up
Hidden - awesome job on the Bones' Apholstery graphic
thepoz57 - both of those cars look sweet - nice job

I thought I would throw this over here too.
I have not sculpted in over 12 years and this is something I came up with last night for a project I am doing. Its not complete but this is after a couple hours.
