My son found this great site and passed it on to me. I am retired law enforcement from Los Angeles County. My Dad helped build the Bustle Bomb, a dual engine dragster that broke the 150 mph barrier in 1955 (I was 9 years old). Lloyd Scott was the driver. My dad, Noel, was the machinist. He build the drive train components (rear end, trans, brakes, etc.) I am pleased to become a member of this site. Thank you, Lonnie
Thank you. I do not have any pictures of the car. I had a great scrapbook, but a relative "lost it". There are several pictures of it on "Farmers" photos. It is a dual engine car Cad in the rear Olds up front on carbs.
Is this the car that your father helped build? These are the only pictures I have of it, but surely someone else has some more.
