The way I see it, it only makes the job that more enjoyable.

13" tripple gold daytons. Hittin switches bitches. Just Joking of course. Most likely G-78's steel wheels with caps.

The 40 Chevy is getting chopped. Either a carson top or hard top chop. It is going to be a finished Westergard Style Kustom

Al what is a 467 back window exactly?

  12. That's one of those cars that you see when you are out on a cruise and you think...'man I gotta take this thing home and refine it some more' cause that Caddy is gonna be the shit when it hits the streets

Very nice! Hope to see it at the Pride of the Champ show. Finish up the Carl's Jr's and get back to working on it.

What did the rear bumper you have come off of? Just curious, it looks like something I could use.

Thanx for the project peek!! What a kinock-out, how ever you do it will be perfect. I lusted after a Chevy with caddy fins when I was a kid, and never got over it. Good luck with the build. Gambino Rules!!-Sololobo

Knowing your fantastic work this ride is going to be a great Kustom. I'm rolling with blown49, DBAG and Jigger in saying keep the quarters. If you change to the Olds look or the Packard tail lights it won't be a Caddy anymore. Be very very carefully Alex on this car, Harvey Earl give you a great car to work over. This body still has to be the best that ever came out of GM. I cruiser in the same type of '49 Cadillac a Sedanette. Good luck with the build it'll be very cool.

Alex add a post to the *cadillac cruisers* post the new ride belongs there with he rest of the cool cruisers.

    CRUISER

Is that the air cleaner off the '54?

  27. I think the caddy quarters accentuate the boattail.

    Looks perfecto!
