This is the latest custom creation to roll out of my dads shop... i know it should prob go on the jockey journal, but i dont know any of those guys, and wanted to see what you guys think.... Bultaco/Indian...? Yes, a Bultaco Indian...! Custom built ridged frame (Bultaco Sperpa S flat track frame), 1950's Famous James girder forks and handlebars, 1953 Indian front fender, Vintage 1940's WWII Indian Scout army gas tanks, 1941 Indian Jr. Scout rear fender. Repop Indian foot boards & gas caps, 1970's Indian dirt bike badge on motor. Harley repop seat and 1935 Harley buddy seat springs/braket. The rest...? 1967 Bultaco 250cc Matador motor, Bultaco wheels/brakes, Amal carb, Bultaco air box, Bultaco headlight and speedo, Jawa CZ coil, CZ rear view mirror and CZ hand grips, 1939 Ford tail light and repop Fish Tail muffler... It is a kick to ride, just broke in and capable of 65 mph easy...
Come on over and post that thing up on the Jockey. It is a neat project, beats an Evo with Apes any day.
shit 20 years ago or so i tossed one of those bultaco's.. that was after i dug 2 holes in the back yard and planted the thing for the kids to play on.. it was there for prolly 10 years... ha ha Thats a sweet ride.. i like it Dave
Look again... That coupe is actually a roadster with a steel lift off top.... the top was built from a junk 5 window top laying on the ground... its chopped 2 inches in the front and 5 1/2 in the back... its got a 53 merc flat motor, eddie myer intake with a couple 97s... i should post some other pics of it.. Louis
I dare you to pull the second spark plug out and put in a compression release! I haven't heard a Bultaco run (around the flattrack) since the early/mid '70's. The bike looks darn sweet! Good work.
Thats a great little bike. I bet people freak out when they hear that stroker fire up through that muffler. Good job. Kevin Ooltewah Speed Shop
Nice photo shop work... that looks cool with black wheels... And i will post more photos of the roadster.... Louis
That's a really nice looking package. I rode a bul in the 70's, not sure I'd choose that 2 stroke motor for the street, but it looks cool. Nice work.
I had the rims painted red to match my 36 3W Ford Coupe,s wheels. Going to stick with the red for a while. I am the proud new owner of Dave's creation. Jimn3d Snohomish,Wa
