We have a flywheel that will accept a Ford 10" pressure plate for our 331 Hemi. Does anyone know what disc has the right spline to fit the Lasalle and is 10"? Anyone have a nice Ford Flathead 10" pressure plate that they are not using? Thanks! John R.
A LaSalle disc is getting hard to find, as no modern vehicles (that I know of, anyway) use that spline. Even decent used discs go for a good buck.
Try Kanter I just got a plate throw out and disk from them. Good luck! http://www.kanter.com//catalog/gall...t=1500&Sb=0&Vdr=&Itm=&MDv=1&MDpt=0&MSb=0&Prc=
can any Studebaker guys verify input shaft diameter, spline count and disc diameter for the Lark if you have a clutch and brake shop nearby they may be able to make a disc for you using an International Scout center and attaching a 10" disc doh! just saw this thread is a year old.. like talking to a ghost
Sorry - we work a little slow - still looking for a 10" disc with the right spline for a LaSalle - can anyone please confirm if they know of any? Also, - what are the part numbers/years for the Scout and/or Dodge discs that people use?
Fort Wayne Clutch in Fort Wayne, IN built a clutch for a guy I talked to at a show there a few years back, he told me they used a late '80s Ford diesel clutch spline I think. If you call them I am sure they can hook you up. coupeman36.
Well, this Chev will not help you; its 11in., 10 spline w/ 1 1/4in. input...... Check older threads on this subject; if I recall correctly, the Scout disc came up a couple of times.
