I hope you guys can help, I have a 350 chevy with 9.5 to 1 compression, 2.02 heads, HEI dist., 600 cfm carb and a lumpy street cam. it runs very strong when cold (under 190) but as soon as it gets up to operating temp the power falls off at the lower end (1,500- 3,500 rpm). i should mention that the trans is a 350 turbo hydro with a 3500 stall

  2. if 190 is cold , what do you consider operating temperature?

    190-195

  4. that doesn't sound too warm. out of curiosity , what 600 edelbrock are you using , 1405 manual choke or 1406 electric choke? the 1406 is calibrated leaner

i'd be tempted to try an insulator spacer between the carb and intake
