I am getting a car body out of the wood's to do another hot rod. here are the pic's in the wood's. We think it is a 1928 Pierce arrow 3 window coupe has 2 cowl vents and adjustable tilt wheel and the body is very big. I know it is very rough but different. Time to do lot's of patching. And making the trunk lid and some doors fit. I know why bother. But it is the fun of all of it and what can be done.

That'lle buff out... ;) If it is a PierceArrow, you may want to check to see if any of the restorers would be interested in it before you do anything with it. They can bring some high dollars done...

You can do it! Can't wait to see some "in progress" pics. If you can turn that thing into anything half way decent, you're the man.

The body line on the quarter looks very much like an Essex.(1930?) They also had dual cowl vents.

Sized similarly to a ford

The dash looks a lot like an Essex also... Is that the grill shell on the roof?

12. Interested in what?!?!?!

You'd be better off to start with a new 4'x8' piece of sheetmetal.

13. And people say our cars are rough pieces of crap... that will be a major accomplishment when it's done. More power to you -

Can I interest you in a rough '29 Franklin?

People that whine about your visions being nuts, also rebuilt China lately. Do it, everyone picks my projects apart, until they're in primer and rolling. My '34 Tudor still has chainsaw marks on it from digging it out of the woods....in pieces.
Seems to be only a few "real" builders and true bodymen on this site.
I thought this was Mecca?

I'd like to see one worse than this one... even if it WASN'T done...

From the 2 pics I see, I'd have to say that's about as bad as they get.

WOW ! My car was very ruff when I saw it for the first time.
But..When I saw it I already had a picture in my mind of what it would look like.
I'll bet you saw the same picture;)
Just keep welding and patching until you start seeing that picture:D

I pulled the front cowl section off a 32 Nash in the woods,it also has twin cowl vents and the dash looks pretty close.

This stuff is in the woods on the Cape. I had to go through hoops to be able to remove it.

I think that you need to be on here for more than 5 minutes before you start sweeping statements like that.

Also might have been worth taking some chainsaw lessons before you cut a car out of the woods, then you might not have those marks in the body:D:D
