I've been out for a while buying & selling coin op/advertising/antique junk and have not had much of a chance to keep up with stuff. I've been getting a bunch of email about the Showdown dates for 2009.
The Checkered Flag Jalopy Showdown is May 16th 2009...ALWAYS the third weekend of May
Latimore Valley Fairgrounds, York Springs PA
Jalopy Showdown Drags Oct. 3rd 2009 Beaver Springs Dragway Beaver Springs PA.

I'm home for a while now and will get my horrible website updated in a week or so. The Showdown Drags coverage is in the new Traditional Rod and Kulture Illustrated. Should be out now. Promotion over, thanks.

Dam, I can't make it this year. I planned on re aranging my sock drawer that weekend.
