I had to change the engine in the Model A. The 283 needs a total rebuild, and it's going to take a while. I found a 327 from a '64 Impalla, and it fit nicely. (327's rev so high :)) I took all the speed equipment off the old mill and made the swap. I cleaned up the tri-power, and got new valve covers and lake-style headers. It is soooooo loud runnin open; rattled my noggin loose! Had to call a doctor!:D

Now, I have got to get to work finishing the interior so it will be ready for the GNRS Suede Palace! (Thanks Axle!).

That's a great looking car, you've done well.

Almost exactly what I've got it in my pea brain for my coupe.

Always been more of a fan of the 327 than the 283, more tourque and it still revs good. Whats the wheelbase on that, is it (103.5)? Pompadour and I want to know what size tires you got on it also?.

What a nice looking A .The 327 looks so nice ,it makes me kinda wish I went that route instead of a Nailhead. I've been waiting 3 mos. for a bellhousing ,not to mention all the other expenses and stuff.
    Nice Job.

Dude, I have been trying to decide on a color for my '29 roadster, and you've made my decision for me. Is that gray or silver (i.e. metallic gray)?

    Thanks,
    Mike
