Hi Guys & Girls, Just wondering where most of the clubs in the US get their jackets/coats made? Any help would be good as we are just getting our jackets sorted. Or if would like to post some pics of your club jackets that would be cool. And when we finally get ours i will post pics etc. Thanks Again from Australia :O)
You gotta try the search function my friend, it's a great thing. This is the best thread about vintage jackets, KiwiKev has the best collection. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=157196&highlight=car+club+jacket
Thanks 327-365HP, I havent been on for a while, Went out last night for a club meeting (BEERS)and saw 3 top notch Rockabilly bands. Getting ideas now and should have our club jackets soon. Thanks agin for the tip that thread went on for ages fantastic.
The old lady that chainstitched our jackets died a couple of years back. We had about 9 of them made total over the past decade or so, hence only 9 club members. We guard them with our lives lol.
Love the Name Road Rockets, and yeah love to see some pics of your 39 Sloper from Hungry. I will post some pics of our club jackets soon as we get them made and some of our rides as well. Until then here is our old design t-shirts. Ok some pics of My 5 window and motor and my mates t bucket. If i could find a steel 5 window in Australia i would. But i am building a all steel original 29 Ford roadster for my girls. Who 8 yrs old and 6yrs old. Ok its really for me. The 5 window will be running where possible all original vintage parts. Hope you like the pics you may see a single spinner that i took in 2007 in the little Australian town of bright. You migt have see it at Paso Robles.
I got this jacket in 1960 when I joined the Road Runners. After 48 years it's still in great condition, but I swear it has shrunk!

We got our club jackets/shirts t-shirts made from our friend Remey who own's Broken Cherry in Chicago: http://brokencherry.com The T-Shirts are Hanes and the Jackets are embroidered Dickies..
Just love the bobber bikes, if i sat on one im afraid i have to buy it. Tom many projects and a sick daughter at the moment. Love the name very original.
The gray/silver thead worked out real well against the black jacket. Plus it doesnt get dirty (like white would)..
