to buy this '68 Dodge pickup? (Gary's checking his hair)


I think my good friend, Hot-rod Roadster (Gary) has lost his mind!
This past weekend he ran across the '68 Dodge pickup in the photo above and just had to have it.

Recently he's been trying to sell his cool little 'A' Roadster (may be sold, actually) so he could buy the Dodge. Yeah, he's crazy... and he's also on his way to growing a mullet! haha









Ok, all BS aside, the Dodge is actually a really solid, great running and driving truck. I think it'd be perfect to pull an old rail/FED!

One thing I've learned about Gary is that he's had some of the coolest cars around, but they eventually get sold and he moves on to the next project. He is currently building a '40 Ford coupe that will, no doubt, be a kick-ass Hot Rod when he's done.

It sounds like his Roadster may be getting shipped out soon. It will be a sad day - I love that car (been lucky enough to drive it!) and may even shed a tear over it

I was at a show a few years back where a super rare big block truck just like you have pictured was on display. If the truck your talking baout is just a plain jane nothing truck but solid I wouldnt get rid of the roadster at all........if the truck was some kind of rare optioned then maybe.

 

it would be great for towing an awb car or fed...

maybe gary needs to change his name to 'hot rod-buyer-seller'!

I dunno........ always loved roadsters, most likely will never own one. Why? Cuz I get too attached to shit!
Sometimes I envy the guys that buy/sell/trade their way through all these bitchen rides. To some guys, its how it gets done. Hell, look at Aaron! (Plowboy) Is the paint even hard on that thing? The punk is for sale, and I cant WAIT to see what that guy can build next.
