36 ford guys nuther quick measurement please

i need a measurement on the hood sides, along the beltline, from cowl to where it meets the grille shell.

hope i have the right distance you want , mine is 54 inches from cowl to the front

thanks mudbone, but i think we are measureing two differrent things 54" seems way too long.

thanks jeem, but are the cars and trucks the same? If not im still looking for a measurement for a 36 ford CAR hood side. just a measurement along the hinge where the hood side meets the hood top.

Just measured my side panels at the top and they are 38 1/4".
I also have a pair of Rootlieb (sp?) panels here and they are 38 3/8".

I have two original sets for my '36 , and both measure 38 1/4"

 

yep as usual i`m on page one while everyone else is in chapter 3, soory bout the bum gouge .
