Hey NOSURF, Hate to hear the bad news. Mainly glad to hear you came outa it mostly OK though. I Kinda know how it feels - my '36 lit up one night and burned the engine compartment, wiring, hoses, fried the paint on fenders, firewall and cowling and even melted the solder right outa the radiator. But we finally got er fixed again. Keep your good attitude - anyway what a story to tell the kids! Good Luck man..........................
WHO engineered those roads!!!?? OMG.lol Have a good old fashion "Barn raisen" Get everyone over, fire up the BBQ & put it back together.luckily ya got all winter JimV PS Maybe your too big for the car!!lololol
Hey, neighbor, glad to hear that you had lunch with Povertyflats and Cuzzindeke today. I hope they were able to cheer you up a little. I like your attitude that you hold about the whole happening. I am sure glad you and the family are okay, and I know you will have the Ford back together again really soon.
Sorry to hear about your accident, the coupe can always be rebuilt. The main thing is you came out of it alright.
Damn thats painful just looking at it. Sweet car before and you can obvisly rebuild it just as nice. Good luck with your recovery and your cars! I would get some screws and my power drill and some hot glue and make that power pole look like new! haha. Sorry to make a joke at this situation but you seem to have a good attitude about it.
Everything happens for a reason, though it may look grim now in the end you will come out learning why this happened.Glad you're alright.
Damn Man, I am getting bad, I missed this post also. Glad you are ok and the coupe looks repairable. What a friggin bummer!! Winters commin and you know your project, good luck brother!!~Sololobo
Oh No ! Glad your'e doin OK. When I hit a pole, I didn't exactly walk away. As for the car, bring it back badder and meaner than before.
Damn! I hate these stories........'specially when it's my friends involved. Glad to hear you're only banged up a bit. Hey, I have a stock 40-41 front axle if you want it. It's not dropped but with the proper administering of heat and force, it could be. Let me know if you want it. Gimmee a call. Rocky
Bummer, glad your ok. Maybe the ole girl will come out better next time. I looked real close at the pics., I think if you had of had three more beers you could have held that baby straight......LOL
Jesus, I'll bet you're pissed! I know I would be. It seems you have a really good attitude about it all, though. That's good to see.
Just be thankful that it was a wooden pole, not a "Stobie" pole - http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,24565196-421,00.html Stobies are metal and concrete poles used in one particular state here in Australia - they are less likely to break that wood Good luck with the rebuild! Adam F
WOW!!!! That must be a bad ass flatty you got yourself now Dude, this sucks bad, Glad you are okay though and things can be fixed Rusty
Definately a bummer , to say the least . Like the rest have said - at least you're OK & noone else was involved .
It's been awhile since I heard a story about you leaving the road! Little more damage than you let on over the phone, to you and the coupe. The pole you seem to have described accurately, though!!! From the pics, the airbags don't seem to have deployed...
