I like that steering wheel. Homemade? That would really compliment a set of those aviation series guages by Classis Instruments/Steve Moal. Who's car is that?
This is the dash in my dad's '29 roadster, "El Tiki". Its a '56 Olds dash cut down. The only guages that are in the car is what you see, speedometer, fuel guage and idiot lights (oil, hot, cold, gen.)... and yes, they all work.
Always dug the 59/60 Chevys, early 60s Chrysler as well, but I gotta admit the dash in my 61 Olds is preety cool, especially if you include the steering wheel (sorry, no pic on this computor). Besides being good looking it's got one of those cool color changing roller speedos.

I really like the dash in the 40 chevy and it's Art Deco looks... the only photo i have is the rusty old one in mine which is not the best example. i googled it but couldn't find one. the one in the 40 Coupe Gambono's did looks awesome i think! Also i like a lot of late 50's cars with lots of chrome. I love the 57 Starchief, sorry about this pic though... i'll get a better one when the car comes off the boat next week...
. I like this but don't have a freakin clue what it came out of?? British maybe? It sorta has a 'Stewart Warner' wings look to it... .
40 Ford of course! Here is one I'm putting in a 40 Ford pickup project. Here is a thread I started on the 40 dash. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=318841
Which dash would look good in a '46 Chevy truck? I think the dash opening is 45". I'd love something a little different!
I like so many no real favorite. Many really nice dashes in this thread. I just did a 60 chevy in a 32 sedan. Welds are still warm. Steve
